    Default 1GGTE clutch

    Hi all,

I'm trying to find an uprated clutch for my 1ggte.

I've found the post showing the hilux one fits, but that doesn't seem to hold it.

From my research I think a 3sgte clutch will fit but can anyone confirm or deny this?

    Thanks!

Compare sizes, does it run a 225mm or 236mm?

236mm for both, I'm pretty sure the f iction plate fits,

It's the bolt holes for the pressure plate, I've taken the plunge now and ordered one so I'll update the thread when I know!

Was going to say there is a good chance 2jzge and 7mge will work.

    Right to close this out.

I can confirm the 3sgte clutch pressure plate and friction plate fit the gen3 1ggte flywheel. Opens up a whole new world of clutches for the 1ggte.

    Glad I could help someone.

Obviously it depends on your gearbox as to the release bearing you need but I use the Lexus IS200 box and release bearing and it works well.

Fitted a 6 puck clutch and pressure plate and no slip seen at 355bhp/324lb/ft

Anyone know a safe rev limit for the 1ggte's?
