probably ... and you'd have to make sure you don't stuff-up the outputs from the other devices in the box.
worthwhile? how much TV do you watch on your dashboard?
Do-able, just time consuming.

I still think replacing the CRT with a 2 channel input TFT or whatever 5inch screen in, giving you a chance to feed the car diagnostics in, and the other channel for dvd and what other things you may like. But I don't have the room in the z20

My one seems to have vertical hold issues. I'll try and track down the problem. I wonder if it will be in the boot box or the dash. Any advice for disassembling the dash?
Haha success! I fiddled around with it, and it came up with vertical hold and everything. But then it beeped a bunch put up a warning message in Japanese, the only word of which I could read was OFF, and then turned itself off. :S I'll have to take a photo of the message if it comes up again and translate it, so I know what is going on.
Low battery is the message if it is the same as the below pic.
Translates to: "To make battery voltage increase, please start the engine."バッテリーが 上がりますので
工ソジソを始動して下さい。
Cheers
Wilbo
Awesome, that is indeed the message.![]()
