you can buy 20 v billets ,try waggotts in alstonville nsw they will be able to help you on the inlet and exhaust much cheaper than the yank profiles
hey guys am looking into getting some cams for my blacktop. something along the lines of these
http://www.camshaftshop.com/camshaft...yota-camshaft/
scroll down to 20V cams and they vare the fast street cams
anyone got any thoughts as to how these would go with this:
ae111 blacktop
microtech lt10s
4 bosch coil packs
4:1 extractors
60mm trumpets
stock internals
is going in a te71 that will be used for street but occasional track work.
and also a question about cam gears.
as yous would probaly all know the 20vs have vvti on intake. i intend on using adj cam gears but am unsure as to what exactly to use.
do people usually just
+ get an adj exhaust gear and let the vvti work on the intake
or
+ ditch the vvti and run adj cam pulleys on intake and exhaust.
???
cheers for any help on this guys

i belive the vvt wont work with the toda adjustable cam gear
so what would be the best option?? im not sure how much of an effect having no vvti will have on a street motor. i dont want it to be rediculously undrivable. if ditching the vvti is not going to affect it much ill do it but i was under the impression that that option is getting more towards race engines.

yeah go to a local cam grinder and see if they offer something for you. Theres a place here called wade cams that sells 20v sticks for $300 or something, they have 9nn lift and 280 degrees suration
you can keep the adjustable gear but it will move some cams too far. we modify the variable cam gear to stop this . On most race engines, we leave the vvt functional as it provides more torque. cams readily available here. see www.roadandtrack.net.au
