    Just that I have steel and a MIG welder handy, no ali or TIG.
    Was just curious if it would heatsoak enough to render it absolutely pointless, or whether it would still be worth doing.

    i made mine from cf.
    made a practice one, when i was happy enough with that i made a second one to use as the template, the i layed the cf over top, so the cardboard is still on the airbox (just on the inside), cardboard is a terrific insulator so im not concerned about it being there.

    m/s would work, it will hold heat once it warms up, and naturally its 2/3 heavier then ally but could be used. Ide still recommend cf or fg any day.

    i used street sign's that my mate got me lol "not legal" but verry usefull lol also the ally is easy to bend and cut as you can see i never got to finish it
