    Maaaaaan
what a disappointing evening ... well for me anyway ..

Didn't help that the place was packed out as well.. we only got in about half a dozen runs with about 30-45mins wait between runs

My car chucked a sad and got stuck at 10psi last night. For stuff knows what reason. It just didn't wanna run any more boost than that! ???
it had me scratching my noodle all night. most would have seen the puzzled look on my face and the bonnet on TRD83 up and down all night.
I wound the boost bleed valve all the way up to max .. and it still didn't run more boost?! tinkered with the BOV in case it was leaking boost.. and it still ran 10psi.. ?!
maybe something in my stock ECU decided to restrict it for the night .. or maybe the wastegate was stuck or something? dunno... it hell frustrated me hey - I was looking forward to better times, not worse times!..

    So yeah - best trip was a 13.6s on 10psi (approx 225hp)

    ffaaarrrccckkin spewin!!

    dam tempromental turbo cars!
They run spankin well one moment - and then go spaz the next ...

    not happy

Ah well - burnouts / flame action was fun tho!! haha

Cheers to all who came down.
And until i get the official OST pics up... here's a link to Supra Phil's pics:

Stomps, do a dvd for me too? I'll chuck them online.

Damo, wasn't that many runs, especailly when i didn't finish 1, and major mis shift in the 3rd. but it was still good fun, and ran a consistent time.

    Looking forward to next one.

Thumbs up Re: OST @ Whoop Ass Wednesday

Good to hear you made it down Eldar, after all my stirring - hope you had fun

Damo, don't worry, sounds like pretty good times to me. Remember when you had the old 3TGTEU in it? You would have loved to be doing what you're doing now. Expectations just go up. But try not to blow it up dude

Looks like it's getting harder to beat people's times now - think I'll take my TA22 and hide somewhere

Gene.. you're talking about a totally different car. That was an old TA63 Celica I had. It now belongs to Loki who didn't show up..
My supra used to run the old 1GGE .. which best time was about 16.9s .. so just with the engine transplant itself its 3sec quicker!
Now comes the tuning and tinkering...

    Don't worry - i won't blow it up.. its a 7MGTE .. what could possibly go wrong?

yeah man that would be awesome if you could post that up. That was my best run, i guess coz the pressure was on cos i had to beat damo

Even with dodgy clutch sticking still managed a decent time of 13.3
Bit more tinkering and we shall be back for the 12sec pass.........me and Damo

    out of 7 passes 4 were 14.1's (best of 14.116) 1 14.2, 1 14.3 and 1 14.4

so it might not be down to the 13's but at least its consistant and a quicker than my previous best of 14.4.

hey eldar what was last run? i looked back at the board on the return path and it looked quite appalling, but i might have read the terminal speed. unlucky for the bond run, so close, but still quicker than me, so thats some conselation at least

Youll get there man,i was happy with my 13.7's with the boost turned down so the clutch could hold it but i will be back with a button clutch and we will run some good numbers.

Also the MPH was down due to bad gearing ,i was crossing the line on the limiter, anyway well done to everybody.

something like 16.6, i sat on the start line and spun like an asshole for way too long, the run was shot, so i didnt even give it any...

caned it through second then just coasted along.

you didnt read the terminal speed, it was just that shocking

my best for the night was a 14.271s, fully laden (subs and amps all in, and full tank of gas.) I need a whole lot more traction in first and 2nd.

I think we need to beat up phil. Not one pic of my car. humph!!

haha.. yeah, I could see the "I can't be fuckd" look on Eldar's face as he just coasted on past the line..

But Mike - what happened to you on the freeway on the way home?.. I saw you and Tiang pull over but it was a bit late for me to stop.

i was nursing an empty fuel gauge aswell, so i didnt try and catch back up
