I'd feel safer, from what I've read, if I had a scatter guard fitted to the bellhousing if I had such a flywheel & if going to be doing serious revs.
Will have to check that diameter when im at my dad's next.

I wont be going overboard on the revs as I dont have the bottom end balanced in the engine its going behind, but the engine it was on years back i know it would have seen high revs frequently with either of my parents driving it and they wonder where I got my interest in cars from

But it held up for a good 8 years with mum's driving and she would have probably been rougher on it than my dad if it held up for her, I should be fine.

When you say 2T, 3T... 2TG only, or single cam 2T as well?? I'm hunting flywheel options for a single cam at the moment, and am not having much luck - if it's interchangable I'll be able to ask around a bit more?

They should all be interchangable. Which head it has on shouldn't effect the flywheel.

Really? how much flexibility is there in flywheel choice?? I assumed things would be fairly specific sizes, and only have limited application from car to car...

They all run the same flywheel bolt spacing, and all use the same gearbox. They also have the same diameter clutch face (as far as I am aware). So yes, they are ALL interchangeable.

IF you want a bigger clutch face, you can also use a 1G flywheel, though you would need to use a W5* box, not a T50 box as it wont fit in the bellhousing.

Word of advice though, you want a 2TG flywheel they are about 7kgs, a 3T and i think 2T is about 12kg and they are a SLUG no fun to drive.

TODA ones you can still get, from the US or Japan, around $700 from memory?
