have u checked for fuel pressure
remove return line and see if anything come out of return line

if the engine doesnt start after afew turns due to no fuel the ecu turns off the injectors

on some toyota engines

so the 1j ecu might be doin same thing

try starting it on aerostrart

if it starts this means spark and mechanical is mostly ok

and the prob is fuel side

the first thing we put a fuel pressure gauge in, when the car stops and trys to start the fuel gauge dips down a bit. we made sure of that when we build up pressure then disconnect the pump

also she has a weak spark, but when she runs the spark is good...

same with the light on the injectors when she runs she is bright as she can be, but when it stops then try to start it again its pretty dulll
