Looks like we could be in for a late last minute cancellation again..
    everyone stay tuned!
Keep an eye on this website: http://www.motorplex.com.au/
I'm pretty sure they will post a big "CANCELLED" on the webpage anytime after about 3ish, once they have a good idea what the weather is doing down there..
That said - i don't think anyone knows what the weather is doing?!

ps. Thanks for letting us know Todd..
maybe you can get it sorted in time for next week if it gets cancelled again!..

hey, i just called the motorplex and they said at this stage its still on, they said they normally make a decision around 4:30 so i will call again then..

also i looked at the weather site.. there is currently no major cloud within 256km of perth that will have an effect on kwinana, it looks like most of the rain is gonna hit further south..

not promising anything though, dont wanna get anyones hopes up.. i will call the bureau as soon as i get off the net (fu#$n lack of broadband) i will post up what they say later..

hope i see yous all tonight

I've got my BOM site cranking in the background monitoring the situation. It's still going to be touch and go...

hey, i just talked to a dude at the perth office, according to him there should be some action soon, but it should all clear by 4:30, i guess it really depends on when the motorplex wants to make their decision.. if they make it early we could be rooted, if they wait a bit then we might JUST be alright..

but yeah, its gonna be close..

Hope the weather is alright for you guys.

BTW if it does stay open and it doesn't actually rain, you will usually get a heap of runs as most people won't bother coming out. That is what happens over here anyway

Weather outside is warm and sunny. Radar shows little to no rain on the 256km loop. Everyone cross their fingers.

im with you man, last time i went i couldnt get my fu@$%n thing off the line without a whole heap of wheelspin so a lot of runs would be handy..

also JCMF, if you're looking at the same radar pics im looking at, what do you make of the cloud about 200k out to sea??

with any luck it will stay light or better yet F#$K off

Haha, I had two launches last time (it was mucho busy), first one was mucho wheelspin. Second one was bogged down. Both 2.8 60ft's (i.e. terrible).

I can't see that cloud getting any worse. If the previous ones have been anything to go on, the rainfall has decreased as they made their way to shore.
