I might be going down on Wednesday (29/03) with the Soarer now that my gearbox has been replaced and it's got a quickshifter.
Last time I ran a dead flat 14 with the auto slipping in each gear and smashing into the rev limiter at every gear change.
Maybe I can hit a high 12 or a very low 13 this time

cheers man, yeah boost controller and Emanage should make things a bit more interesting, also some colder weather and i reckon she may just suprise me even more.

Your car must be gettin close to the 12 second zone man, i keep hooking ya up with the goods when do ya want the manifold and gate?

Unfortunantly i dont think i will be makin it down until the next season as im pretty sure they finish up in a few weeks and my car isnt even registered now. ahh wellllllll

Hmm, just checked website, end of May WAW stops.

I'd really like some rims and tyres to use, but I don't see that happening.

The car has some *special* suspension bumps which will need sorting out before I go down there, and the motor is currently only held in by have the recommended bolts, so I'll need to do something about that too.

I'll be about 4-6weeks I reckon before I can be assed fixing all this, so if you guys want to head down earlier, go for it.

They close Wednesday night for June/July/August because the chance of it getting rained out is quite large.

man ill be happy with a mid 13 at this stage, the car is running great but unless i can get a better launch (then 2.6 60 footer) i have a big disadvantage..

im gonna try to nagotiate with Todd a price on 2 of his new rims and buy some decent rubber for the rear, or put my brothers falcon rims on it again.. either way it might help with traction..

about the gate... whenever is conveniant for you man.. i got 2 assignments and an exam this week so im kinda busy.. i got 2 weeks off coming up soon, will try to get the manifold and cooler piping done then..

dam straight you will!! man if you have half the recommended bolts holding that engine in, you still got too many!! Toyota are way to careful about these silly little things. i say get rid of those heavy bolts and replace them with some cable ties (not to big of course cos that will be too much weight)

Hmm damo if ya made it about mid may i reckon i may be able to scrape my slack ass down there, should be able to get my boost controller in by then, prolly not the Emanage, but 15psi should be fine for a few runs

goddamit matty, the last thing any of us need is your car getting any quicker...

nah, mid may would be great, i will have the manifold and gate done by then (cheers matty) and some decent cooler piping should be done by then too... also being winter and all i might be able to convince someone to help me out with paying for some real grippy tyres.... for safety of course
