unless its boosted with some mods i woudlnt bother with a button clutch thats all the advice i have
ok guys so i need some underbody info...
#1: whats better an stock ta22 auto diff with 4:1 ratio or stock ta22 manual diff
#2: whats a good suspension package and where can i get it (to fit stock mounts and stuff)
#3: where can i buy a good clutch package to fit stock gearbox? prefer brass button like what negative boost has.
#4: easy bolton upgrades for 13t (3t)
just some extra info, front of car already has sigma steering items to make it have camber. Basically i want to setup all the suspension such that when it comes time to put a more powerful engine the suspension can stay (unless when i put hilux diff in i have to change rear setup)
Hopes this all makes sense just want to start getting prices and writin it all up so i can start the work in the next couple of weeks, also need a new set of rims which have good airflow but are also light and cheap.
I also heard that urethane bushes are good also where can i get a set to suit? or nelathane or something.

1. Define "better". The best ratio depends on a lot of factors, not least of which is what you're using it for. Stock ratios are 3.9:1 or 4.1:1 and there's SFA difference between them really.
2. You won't find a suspension "package" for a TA22 any more, but you should be able to find shocks from other cars (eg AE86) which will fit. Not sure about springs but again AE86 stuff may be close. There's a strong aftermarket for AE86's but nothing for TA22's.
3. For a 3T or a 13T a stock clutch should be fine, maybe you might want additional clamp but a button clutch is ridiculous overkill for the amount of torque that engine will produce.
4. Try to source a second-hand set of extractors and maybe an adaptor plate for a downdraught Weber, but that's about it for easy bolt-ons. Again there is no aftermarket for these cars so you'll have to scrounge for old second-hand go-fast bits.

Yup, i wouldn't use a brass button with a stock engine like a 3T. It's not worth the money and can be quite annoying to drive with at times. Save the cash and put a brass button behind your 'go fast' engine.
Noltec bushes are the best i think. My main reasoning is that their control arm bushes have a steel sleave over them unlike the SuperPro bushes.
Noltec Bushes for the TA22
SuperPro Bushes for the TA22

T-series = Same as AE86 which means you have about a thousand options for 2 way LSDsOriginally Posted by Rusty
