S bellhousing is off the SXE10 Altezza RS200 because it mates to a 3SGE BEAMS blacktop.

I would say T series is the one bolted to the 1GFE on the GXE10 IS200.. but i could be wrong

Yes the T50 will fit behind the G series engine as this is what I have behind my G powered Mk 2 Corona. If you were thinking of the 1UZ look for the thread by Joecool as he is currently putting one of these into a MX 22 Coupe.
    Cheers Brett.

T series bellhousing (from behind a 3TGTE) or a G series bellhousing (out of something like a GZ20 or a GA70). Both exist for the W5x gearbox and no mods needed.

    S series definately won't work.

No, the whole car from the firewall forward is different.
The Celica's are narrower and shorter.

But you can't tell from the chassis code.

    MA63's are like MA61's.
    SA63's are like RA65's.

go for the 1ggte very small very light
great fuel economy and awsome performance easy 140rwkw std with a basic boost upgrade, responds really well with a slight turbo upgrade such as a small single easy 180+ rwkw

and best of all a 1gfe (is200) 6 speed gearbox bolts straight on

    Thanks for all ur answers

1g something seems to be the best option i guess, but today i came across a good running 7m-ge complete with gearbox and everything very cheap.

since my car is a daily driver im a bit worried about fuel economy, does anyone have some info about how much gas the 7m-ge use?

Im no expert but my cousins 7mgte in ma70 was a prettey thirsty donk especially when the foot was planted. I think u will find the 1g to be considerably better on fuel but with less torque.

for a daily driver maybe convert the 7m to gas.

Or, 191kw (rear wheel) standard with increased boost in the case of Rod... http://www.toymods.net/forums/showpo...&postcount=222

And, 224kw (rear wheel) with single turbo conversion in the case of stradlater...

I'm pretty sure that the 7MGE is not going to give you the HP you are after. However if you are running to a budget.... I know how that can be.

I scored a 1GGEU very cheap in great condition that bolted straight in. While thats in there I can take my time choosing a good deal on a 2JZGTE. Either that or save my pennies for a 1GGTEU that has had the work done to it. Maybe thats what you might want to do with that 7MGE?

A 7mge would be perfect 200 hp and with a bit of comp it will return 8 to 9 liters per hundred klm

Um 200hp at the fly is not bad at all. I should check my facts before I get all smart and knowing....
