I used a small brake line from some cressy ABS gear i pulled out and just bent it into shape, then bought about a 200mm lng flexible brake line to put on the end, then bend the steel line into shape and youre done!
Mate of mine is doing a 1JZ conversion in his MX83, and he is looking to find out what he can use for the clutch line between the master and slave.
He has heard that he can use a Hilux clutch line, but was not told from which model.
Obviously a few of you guys have done this conversion, what did you end up using??
He doesn't really want to get a custom one made if he doesn't have to.
Cheers
Alex.

Thanks man.
Has anyone heard of using the Hilux clutch line?

Buying the bundy tube to do it and making it yourself is no biggy (as long as you have access to a flaring tool).
The 3/16" tube is about $6-7 per 6m length, available from Industrial Fittings Sales (NSW) Pty Ltd
10 Heald Rd Ingleburn 2565
(02) 9605 3311
Fax (02) 9605 4854
Over the phone ordering and they deliver on Fastways - no problem.
YelloRolla's KE20 1/4mi = 11.32 @ 119mph @ 22psi on slicks
12.44 @ 113 mph on 165 wide street tyres
210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.
Yeah I had thought of that.
And access to a flaring tool would be no problem.
Mate works for Ricol Automotive. So really making something should be no problem. I just think he is a bit lazy.![]()
