Hey Rod, you'll have to bear with me for a few weeks... so I can do some measurements on the engine and cc the head. Aparrantly the pistons are 8.5 comp and 89mm dia. I'm really busy lately but when I get a chance i'll take some bore x stroke measurements and cc the head and tell you what I come up with. I cant wait ti'll I have this running either Sadly money will be the biggest constraint in getting this all done that and im still trying to work out how to make a coilpack/cas setup for the engine, cos i dont wanna use the dizzy....

    Dana,

No need to explain on the money side of things. My TA22 has been off the road for over 5 years now.

What engine management are you going to use ???

    Rod,
I was thinking of getting a Microtech due to the fact that its cheap and seems easy to wire up, (I loathe wiring) and they can provide me with a unit that will have the basic maps so i can get the engine started and off to a dyno shop....
    What do you think?

Honestly I am a big fan of Autronic stuff. The Autronic SMC without AUto tune won't be that much more than a microtech and has the added bonus of boost control built in.

That being said a microtech will run it just fine.
