    149.9/169.9 = 12% tyre slip or difference in tyre travelled circumference..

    hmm... if you have the data for the top half of the track

    you know the distance, and you know how long it took to go that distance..
    if you are logging the ECU, you know how many rpm it did at each point after that...
    so you can calculate exactly how many revs the engine did, and so how many turns of the wheels to go that distance..
    using that number of wheel revs and the expected circumference of tyre, the half track distance.... should be able to calculate it to less than 12% error.....

    or if you have a log, i can try and calc for you?

    oldcorollas, we know the converter is slipping even with the lock up, so i would say that 12% you have worked out is right. i know if i go to a billett converter we will get a 5% slip one and the MPH will increase on the same diff ratio.

    nope, once fron half of the cage is in im good down to 8.00
