    Talking sr20 into ae71?

    Hey all.
I may have come across the deal of a life time (ae71 and na sr20 + gearbox for decent price) and was wondering if anyone new about mounting engine and gearbox (would it be the same as sr20 into sprinter?) and also if anyone knows of someone somewhere who could make a custom tailshaft? cheers for all you help

need to do custom mounts for gearbox and engine. all fits pretty easy, no tunnel mods needed. Yes need to get a tailshaft made.

custom tailshafts are easy take both g/box and diff yokes and the centre distance between them(with engine and box in place), to your local diff man and that is all there is to it. Most diff places that do performance conversions will usually do tough tailshafts and front driveshafts for fwd cars. hope that helps.
my first recomendation would be to talk to an engineer before you even through a spanner on the car to find what is pos with mounts and brakes etc.
Good luck with it all it will fly as a mate is just about finnished his ke55 ca18 n/a conversion.

For all your tailshaft needs, head straight to this place. Less than 4 hours after I dropped my already aquired uni and gave the guy the specs, and my custom W58 to T-series tailshaft was ready, and they fitted mine in on a busy day as I needed it ASAP.

The guy's in the office there are champs, answered all my questions and were awesome to deal with. Good luck with the conversion mate.

Why not run a complete r31 diff to start with then?

If you want 4 stud and same size width as your standard diff. F series might suit you better out of an MX13. good for corona disc brake conversion too.
i also have one for sale thought i'd see if u need any help?

    cheers Kaan
