    Default Toyota Strut Part No

I have a set of struts that have the seats cut off ready for coilover conversion. I need to confirm what they came from.

Does anybody know where I can get a list of Toyota part numbers to confirm?

PArt no. appears to be TH-29K.

    Thanks
    Luke

    That isn't the part number.

The Toyota part number will be 10 numbers from memory.... (xxxxx-xxxxx format?)

    Any other nubers on it?

    Cheers
    Wilbo

Toyota said the same thing - but there is no other identifiable number on the strut.

Maybe someine can help identify the attached pictures?

    thanks

Perhaps a few measurements might help? The fact that it uses a bolt on caliper mount rules out a lot of cars. It's 4 bolt hub. Could be from a Celica TA/RA or a corolla of some sort. A few measurement should be able to narrow it down further.

Is the stub axle bigger/thicker than your original KE20 one?

I haven't got a KE20 strut in bits to measure and I don't have vernier calipers to hand to measure stub axle widths etc. I'll get my hands on some and post more info.

The mate I got them off has a highly modified KE25 that he races in supersprints and sports sedans (if you can believe that). He had them as spares when he purchased the car so he can't confirm what they are. He uses modified AE86 struts with TA22 Koni reds. My inserts are also TA22 Koni reds but they are too short for the tube.

So I'm assuming now that they are AE86 struts that will need shortening. I'm hoping someone can say these look like AE86 struts.

    Thanks for your input.

Ok now we're getting somewhere. They may well be MA61 struts.

Would love to be able to confirm. I'll search for that now instead.

They are definitely not AE86 struts. The bolt pattern around the stub axle is the wrong shape.

They are definitely not *A6* of any description (both Celica and Supra), all of these use a caliper mount cast onto the strut leg.

May be an RA40 strut, but the shape of the bolts around the stub axle still doesn't look quite right from memory.

PS, an arvo at U-pull / Pick-a-part should sort this out though.
I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.
