I've got the Knox Auto Carpet in my TA22. It cost $125 for the "plush" style black carpet. The only problem with it is that it's quite thick and was hard to fit into the kick panels, but with some careful persuasion it's in - and looks great! No complaints.

I did buy some before that from who knows where that I wouldn't recommend again. It was shocking.

When installing it, Make sure you bolt everything over the top of it, makes for a much better fit as opposed to cutting holes in it to bring the belts, etc through it.

    Was the plush particularly heavy?

I got the knox carpet but was disappointed it only lasted a few years in the Celica which doesn't see a lot of driving/use.

Where the heal of my right foot sits completely wore through in no time at all. I understand this is probably the bit that will wear first, but after approx 10,000 - 20,000km of driving it shouldn't wear right through.

My 1988 4runner with 250,000km on the clock still has factory carpet and is only just now starting to look worn around this area.

weird, my supra carpets from them came with a vinyl patch for the driver's feet so it wouldn't wear through

Yeah mine has the vinyl patch there, problem is my heel sits in front of the patch.

Maybe its just just the layout of the car and how I put my feet etc.. Not so much knox fault.
