hamgatam you funny man, the linear line going from bottom to top is your horsepower and the crazy line that lingers below dropping off the chart is your air/fuel ratios... they are quite rich as per standard factory tune.

I was up 30 rwhp from last time (247 rwhp)...

    Changes to the car were...
ARC FMIC kit with ceramic coated pipes... from the stock cooler with one hard pipe.
Mobile TriSynth 10w-30 motor oil... from Castrol R Synth 10w-60
3" exhaust from dumps, no cat, offset quiet muffler and stainless rear muffler... from previous 3" exhaust from dumps including cat, hotdog and canon muffler.
Boost was up 2 pound w/o boost controll from the cooler and no cat.
boost controller was turned off and FCD stopped boostcut on the first run but caused a miss on the 2nd run which was reflected on the power curve.

    Pretty happy overall.

    Thanks Matty

On a side note, I'm seriously thinking about another boost controller down the track, it was having a fit trying to control boost the other day. None the less, here is the graph

hamgatan; An air/fuel controller and a tune will help your power output, and possibly solve some of the bogging down you're feeling. You mention TVIS, but your 3rd gen 3S-GE shouldn't have TVIS at all. Your dyno results are directly inline with 2nd gen 3S-GE results, and while I'm not sure how the Australian 3rd gen 3S power stacks up, it does raise the question...

Veeeeerrrryyy impressive with so much more potential. You have a couple of 1JZ's under your thumb too

Are the fluctuations unstable boost or wheelspin?

Hehe, I'd like to get it up to around the ~270rwhp mark. Kirk got 196rwkw with his Microtech/Blitz setup, and I seem to be a little in front of where he was mod for mod. Fluctuations are unstable boost, Gizzmo is having a hard time holding a stable 17psi with the 7psi spring. You can watch the needle on my boost gauge going up and down. I'm going to see if I can locate some 11psi Gen3 wastegate springs, but I forsee an Eboost2 in my future.

Oh, did they give you a readout of the boost curve? I might give them a buzz!

well that just about sums up my mood.. FKN stoked.. 313.1hp

big thanks to all that helped get my car running before the day and helped fix it so i could chuck it on again..

Thanks to Rob and Damo for making it happen, Matty and Damo for organising me the piping i needed and all that helped out with the stubby holder/ silicon conversion.. Sorry i dont remember your names, but Ben and his mate, Terry?? with the tools.. cheers heaps
also cheers Todd for pointing out my AFR on the dyno graph.. time for aftermarket management i think...

also a big well done to Nathan for the 100hp increase...
shame about KOOLISM.. surely once the gearbox problem is fixed the car will make huge numbers... especially at 23psi...

cheers again and will see you all next sunday..

correct i was merely using TVIS as an example.. theyre in line with gen II specs... but my gen III should be about 20hp more thereabouts... youre right though time to hook up a a S-AFC again i think... i mean you can see my AFR spiking a fair bit there

Yeah Peewee - let me know when Uzzio is ready for a squirt down the track and we'll organise something around that..

Hopefully the learning from the dyno will stamp out a few problems for people and result in better track times for some.. like John and his KOOLISM supra which should do low 12's!..

Thumbs up Re: OST Dyno Day #2 - Held at XSpeed - 11th March

Sorry I didn't get a chance to come down and see you guys in action. Jenelle had other plans for my Saturday morning (door handles and blinds - wooohoooo). And by the time we'd finished, so would have you guys.

Looks like some good figures (and a few issues for some - sorry to hear it guys). Looks like you big number guys are generally running 17psi or more?

SPIDA runs about 10psi as I don't want to break other bits of the old TA22 drivetrain. Still, one day I may try upping things a little to see how it goes, but we'll see... It still lets me have fun.
