Default purge valve and iscv on 20v using microtech

are these valves required when using an aftermarket ecu such as the LTX8?
what is the exact purpose of the purge valve?

    cheers

Purge Valve stops the engine from sucking the fumes out of the tank at times when its not needed.

Its not really needed, but if you have a boosted motor make sure you run a one way valve.

ISCV is an idle speed control valve. Microtech can't really control most Toyota factory ones. The 20V 4AGE ISCV would be the most used.
Not needed, but better for a nicer idle.
