Must.... avoid.... urge... to... upgrade... parts I haven't.... used.... yet.....
Regarding these parts... I'm sure it will be obvious when I'm putting it all together, but any light you can shed in advance would be great.mx62 cressy lacs
ra40 tie rod tubes and ra40 or a better fitting tie rod ends
Are the tie rod ends/tubes too short/long?
And why the Cressida control arms (I assume lacs = LCAs = Lower Control Arms).
RA40 tie rod tubes I should be able to find easily enough, but I can't remember having seen an MX62 at any of my local wreckers for a while. There are a couple but I'm pretty sure MX73.. I don't normally pay much attention to Cressidas so I'm not sure.
A mate just offered to lend me some struts & brakes, although as I've already got lowered springs, KYB shocks and RA60 (RA65?) brakes I feel the cost and dicking around are hard to justify... still trying to decide if it's worth it in my particular case.Does anyone know if this conversion would work with stock S13 struts as a stopgap? Or are they too wide?
Still a great conversion and I look forward to seeing other people's results.

it all bolts up just that the ra40 tie rod ends ball joint tapper isnt best for teh s13 hub but still useable
you need the mx62 lcas due to the balljoint tapper being damm close if not the same a sil's one and also the length of them are a plus
ra60 gear will bolt in no mods needed just run power steering sterring arms for more lock
i would'nt recomend coilovers unless you plan on doing some thing hardocre with the car ie drifting/grip racing there useless and annoying if just used for street driving
Not wanting to get too far off topic, but I already have RA60 brakes on my Corona struts... is there any advantage to fitting RA60 struts, or is that just done so that I can run the different steering arms?ra60 gear will bolt in no mods needed just run power steering sterring arms for more lock

ra60 st141 lion tiger same xa6x steering arms will bolt up to your xt14x struts you just need a wheel alinement after a mate of mine used xt14x power steering arms in his ra65

Wouldn't know off the top of your head how much shorter those xT14x PS arms are compared to the RA65 steering arms he replaced?
MA61 Part Numbers, Upgrades and General Infomation <--- Clicky Clicky

mkay i did end up fitting teh s13 tie rods you need to re tap it to suit nassiaaaannn fine spilne but the rose joint ends are the best the amount of feel given is second to none the only bad thing is there loud basteds
