    Default ST162 platform question

I was just wondering if the ST162 Celica shares a platform with anything? Like underneith, is it the same as the SV22 Camry?

The SV11 and SV21 Camrys are similar, but they are half a size bigger as a overall car. Many parts would be the same or similar.

Your Celica is actualy bassed on the ST150 Corona/Carina range of cars. Similar, but slightly smaller than the Camry. There was a whole range of Coronas and Carinas. AT151, some with 4A-GE. The S motor is only 1.8 litre.

There was also a Corona coupe. Seams the same as a Celica except different headlights, and probably only the 1.8 litre.

    Cheers for the info mate.

I was looking at the ST162 on wikipedia earlier and there was a model of the Celica overseas that ran a 4A.
