Ok guys, im hoping everybody is ready to have some 1/4 mile fun!! I have no idea what time i will get there, the calder hwy is very wierd when it comes to peak hour traffic, but i will get there!! And also, if anybody has a spare 3 inch hose clamp it would be much appreciated

Dave - There'd be clamps out at the creek, but not here. I thought you were running 2.5inch pipes anyways? or is it for the cooler?

Strad - 3 inch on the mouth of the turbo, cooler pipes are the same as yours... i'm heading there straight from work, so the creek is kinda out of the way, thanks anyways. worst case i'll just pinch one off jezz's commodore, its bound to have a 3 inch hose clamp on it somewhere.....

Well guys i had a great night. Congrats to everyone, i think it was a ripper turn out.

I'm stoked as my best ET was a 15.365 at 88mph. I think there’s a bit more in as in my later runs i was getting 90mph in the trap.

Toasted the 1G. Destroyed spark plugs and coolant in the cylinders...

Thanks to all the guys that were offering advice all night - very much appreciated! My best run was 15.611 @89mph which i was stoked about (especially since i beat that JZA70R on that run). My mate took a video but the camera is fubar and now i've got 50 minutes of black!!

Did you end up smoking Eddie? That helmet has direct port nitrous...maybe that helped?

I don't think the engine was actually pinging like that guy said, it was think that was merely someone talking it up. Non of you toymodders added that input, so I think it was merely someone going a little overboard. However, yes, the engine is toast.

I did smoke eddy though, yes, Infact I thoroughly smoked the two guys that I ran during the course of the night.

But, can't complain with an 11.6
