i still dont even see why you got one anyway..
well guys couldnt get my hands on a bosch blow off valve..
but found the one at super cheap auto on sale for 159 (not sure wat brand!?)
the question i now have is does it matter if i mount it before the intercooler? as it would be alot easier because of how my piping is..
thanks again for the help!
cheers

Incorrect. But I'll let you ponder along with your thoughts.Originally Posted by love ke70
strad. yes us LPG boys have to have one.
petrol motors dont have convertors that diaphrams get bent in, all they have to worry about is a throttle butterfly, and im sure that can hold...
care to tell me why its such a necessity?

I've been through my rant before, some people disagree, so I won't flood you with it again.
Irespective of diaphragms or butterflys, you still have a turbo and my point is more one of turbo longetivity and lag.
Sorry for what may seem to be a silly question, but does a recirc BOV go zututututut, pppssstt or shhhhh (as in silent / stock sounding) ?
BTW, my stock 1ggte sounds pretty f&*kin good without a BOV..

depending on your intake tract.
set right no BOV should go ZUTUTUTUTUTUTUTU, unless its venting piss all boost, like 1pound
if you have short intake tract and pod it will go pssht
if you have factory tract and the factory airboix it will be quite silent

Doesn't sound like a zutotototo, more like cheeew. Is the intake tract just the piping between pod and throttle ? How would that affect the venting sound ?
How would I modify the intake so it goes zutututut ? Somehow, I don't think it's that easy, but happy for you to prove me wrong !
Obviously, the plumback Bosch BOV will make it go shhhhhhhhhh, so, if it is sound I want, there is no point in me investing in the Bosch unit ...

that your engine bay?
so your using the stock turbos
well with a plumbback unit it will plumback from the BOV to that stock intake piping, there is 2 pipes on the cast aluminium behind where the large intake pipe comes in.
never set it up stock, but ive always assumed one is for PCV and the other for plumback BOV. so you just plumb it back into that.
with that setup the plumback it would be quite quiet.
to make it go zututututututuuttututututututututututututututu (which is rather like turbo flutter, which you get with no BOV)
but anyways, to make it go zututututu you just adjust it to quite a hard setting, so the pressure builds, releases, builds releases etc
