Corolla engine upgrade

Hi all,
I have a mate who is considering upgrading a KE55 corolla. It has a 4KC engine and we were wondering what would bolt in as a decent upgrade.

as far as bolt in 5K is pretty much your only choice
7K, 2TG, 4AGE or 3S beams would go in with some work,

I agree.
Although not too much work and a 4age will be a great upgrade. Even just the 16valve 4age will beat the pants off the 4k

i would go with the 3t i did it, sus out my link will help ya a bit, and its cheap as to do

and easy, i could to one in a weekend now

you can do the 2TG and 3TG with bolt in parts. Makes sense if you ask me.

That again I think that all the world's problems can be solved with the addition of a 4AG(Z/T)E too, so you might want to consider those options
