usually 750-800 or so RPM, auto slightly higher.
as for how you adjust it, i wouldnt have a clue.

The idle on my brothers ST162 Celica is too low, around 500 rpm all the time.
Can someone please tell me where the idle adjusment is for this, and what it is normally?

there is an idle screw on the throttle body, sometimes you wont be able to see it as its covered up by a little rubber grommet, remove the rubber and you will see the screw inside there.
get the idle up to about 700rpm on a manual, and about 1000rpm on an auto.

Or 1200rpm if in my car so it doesnt stall!
But yes...the rubber grommet is facing up, about 1cm diameter, just after the intake pipe ends. i think it uses a flathead screwdriver from memory!

My mates Celica, 3SGE, idles too low aswell and i think he has the idle screw wound up to the max already. I'm going to see if i can bump it up a bit when we get the gb back in. I'll let ya know if you get stuck with your idle.
