Hey mate, I would assume they should. My mate bought some MZ10 seats and they bolted straight into his AE86. and MZ10 seats look identical to MA61 seats.
Good luck.
Cheers.

just been looking at 86 seat rails and was just wondering if they would fit the mz10/ma61 bolt pattern and ive done a search and found that ke70 bolt holes fit ma61. So i would assume that it works but I just want to be sure.
has anyone tried this? What’s the height like with after market seat rails and seat in since im looking for a lower height since i've already got my knock off brides.
thanks.

ahh that sounds sweet! im 98% sure that mz10 and ma61 seats are interchangable so hopfully your right.
i CBF'ed paying full price for a new seat rail from japan when i might be able to track down cheeper ae86 rails in oz...
Out of curiosity where did you get the rails from mate?
i havent got the rails yet, jsut the seats... ive seen some rails for sale around tho and im thinking of picking up a drivers side one so i can run a better seat now rather than pay 600 bucks later on for a pair later.
that and the seats are taking up space in my house and i gota make room.
I can confirm 100% that MZ10 and MA61 rails are the same.
I ran MA61 seats in my MZ10 for a few months.
Now to find an AE86 aftermarket rail for my seat, saves me cutting things up.

i thought as much... ive been told on the 86 forum that one of the bolt holes on the rear of the seat doesnt line up but one out of 4 isnt bad...
I can't see it getting much lower. I basically cut off all but the lower runners from a set of factory seats and made a brace running along them. My seats were still too high, it's going to come down more to design of the seat. Your Brides could be good though, depending on what they were made forOriginally Posted by xcedricx

well, i did that same thing with my 86 where i cut the mounts off the old seat and bolted them stright to the new rails and stuck it in my car.
my head was about 10mm from the roof... so it might jsut be the seats after all... ive seen these bride seat rails that claim 30mm lower seating position so i assuing that the ones i might get would be similar.
maybe ill jsut have to give up the slider if its going to be like that... dont want to tho.
Umm, you guys sure that ae86 = xA6x ??? I had heard that Sw20 seats were almost bolt into ae86 - only one hole out - and they most certianly *weren't* anywhere near bolt into xA6x.
Rails can be imported from Japan. I have a pair of Bride ones (Suit Ergo 1/Brix 1/Recaro SRs), and a spare driver's one.
