Default 2T/2T-G measurement, head to brake booster/MC in TA-22?

    Hi All,

As I have no engine in either of my TA-22s I cannot measure.

So could someone please measure the distance from Cylinder 4 port face to the brake booster and mounting bolt and master cylinder (three measurements), for me.

I need to know how much room there is for ram tube choice on a 2T Redline Manifold/Solex combination. The manifold is 35mm longer than the Mikuni 2T equivalent.

    Thanks

    Regards

    Rodger

    Rodger,

You may want to take out the "2T-G" out of the subject, as being the twin cam head it would be wider, and therefore closer to the brake booster and master cylinder...

    Thanks Skidz it will help.

twentyeight. I could do with the 2T-G measurement for the standard set up as a reference. I understood it is the same but the numbers will tell.

Grega. Yes please. What filter? I have a feeling the ram tubes I planned to use are going to be very close to hitting the M/C bolt. I may have to go with a shorter set.

I need this handy bit of info for reference as I build up a complete bolt on kit.

    Thanks

    Regards

    Rodger

    Hey Rodger,
i have a 2tg with a redline manifold and 2 40mm DDH solexs on it, medium ram tubes to suit and i have fitted ram tube uni filter socks.
    i measured:
    - face of the solex to m/c = 3 1/4 inches
    - face of solex to nut on m/c = 2 inches or 52mm
here is a pic with my cheapo camera.
