Default wot type of crown sus does this have?

Hey guys just a question about the Crown in the attached pic.

First of all what model and roughly what year is it?

Next question does this model have the same suspension setup as the MS123??

If not what does it have and does any1 have any pics of the suspension setup for the model in the picture.

    Cheers

It's an 80 series Crown. I can't tell you which of the 3 revisions it is but they were sold here between 1975 and 1979. I think the badge on the side indicates it's a Super Saloon -maybe a bigger picture could help there.

The front suspension is double wishbone like an MS123 but I doubt many (if any) of the components are interchangeable (they might be but I don't know because this is way too late model for me).
The rear suspension is live axle - Aussie models had a Bog Warmer, the imported Super Saloons had an F series. MS123 has F series IRS (not unlike an MA61).

Obviously it has been dumped - maybe bags/hydraulics?

Edit: Like Bart Simpson said: "I didn't think it was possible for something to suck and blow at the same time." Those wheels are teH cawk.

i've been thinking a bit about the MS123 / UZS131 suspension setup, and I have questions about calling it a double wishbone front end.

The fronts have a wishbone upper arm, yes - BUT, the lower arm is a castor rod type of arrangement, like on a RA28. Can you still call that double wishbone, considering there isnt actually a wishbone for a lower control arm?
    ...... butt scratcher?!
