While I haven't used this exact unit myself yet, this kind of thing might well be of help to you:

Oh, and with the $2000 bill you now have, you could have bought yourself an Autronic... Letting Fulsik Industries randomly play with your car at full hourly rate isn't a good way to solve fundamental problems...

Also, by the way, are your 1000cc injectors low impedance and side feed? If so, let me know where you got them.

Update on this thread just for anyone who is curious. Turned out the shop I'd been going to for a long time ripped me off.

the guy pulled my harness through the firewall tretching it at the ECU, and did an extremely dodgy job of wiring up the injectors and managed to hide it all under my intake manifold.

I now have the US Supra resister pack which worked fine, but currently have to get my harness repaired. End of the day though the GTR resister pack would of worked, it was the shops fault it didn't. Luckily though the Toyota pack is cheaper and looks a hell of a lot neater.

The problem had absolutely nothing to do with the PowerFC, so for those who thought changing ECU's would be the best option it wouldn't of helped me at all with that shop.

    just came to the thread..

Kingmick - thanks for that, u got me confused there... the powerfc is a fully programmable aftermarket ECU and a lot of street tuned cars use them.. they're pretty expensive too, ECU + loom typically go for 1500 to 2000 bucks..

which is my next wonder... the powerfc is meant for the JZA80, and it being an APexi, why did they do the car up in such a dodgy way? i doubt it's the item's fault and i seriously doubt there was any need to wire up the setup in such a manner...

yea.. agree with echotechilux, i'll bring the petrol.. let's start a bonfire

Basically they did a dodgy job of wiring up the injectors and stretched the harness by pulling it through the firewall.

Most of my problems have come from the harness being stretched.

I was running the PowerFC for 2 or so years before any of this happened.

Also yes, the 2J, 1J and 3S PowerFC's are a little better and more expensive than most as they're built in conjunction with AP Engineering who also program the stock ECU's for Toyota.
