Nope thats the H22, the F22c would be the 2.2L version of the S2000 motor thats used in US S2000's. Not sure of its use in any other markets if at all, ie I know we haven't got it yet.

Chances of getting one as far as I'm aware would be very slim and shipping costs from the US would be rather substantial. Just noted you location being CA possibly California hence you would be able to source a F22c pretty easily if that is right

PS As much as I hate SR20's its now becoming quite a common conversion and hell the amount of off the shelf parts for them is a joke and would be a very cheap option to extract more power out of after the initial cost of the conversion.

As below this shouldn't be in this section

Nope we only ever got the F20c ie the 2L version.

This thread is fine to have on the forums but it probably should of been started in the general car chat section as its more applicable to it.

Best of luck with the project, CA18DET's are very common over here and they are cheap because no one likes them because we have so many SR20DET's as well.

good luck with the conversion... to make this thread more applicable, should chuck some pics up

I've got a funny feeling we got H22s in our preludes at one stage, dunno tho... I don't know of many people that play with Hondas here.

Yes we got H22's in our Prelude's the last of the VTir and Vtiratts Prelude's had them, but the F22c is another motor altogether, its a bored/stroked??? version of the F20c made specifically for the US market because they whinged about the lack of bottom end in the F20c
