    sticker tampering was deserved...

surely not all the skids that were performed at the drags were shit?

Yeah, I admit Radelaide was let down a bit on the skids front, but after reviewing my pics, there was one stomper burnout that has earned 1J redemption. I'll post it up soon.

As for the weekend, once again, it was fantasmo!
Us Adelaide folk set off on Thursday night, around 9:15 after running around & picking up all our necessary supplies, and after a rather eventfull drive, which included a drunk driver we reported to the police & had the pleasure to watch pulled over by the po-po within 10 mins (nice work lads!), approx. 30 or so Kangaroos, about 5 foxes and a couple bunnies, all avoided fortunately, multiple stops for sticker applications, and about 4-5 movies viewed on the multiple in-car TVs, we arrived in Dubro about 10am on Friday.

Friday night I only have vague memories of, I think I might have had an alcoholic beverage at some stage, but I just can't remember clearly....

Saturday was a good chance to sleep in seeing as I was too soft to bring my car (I'm still pissed I didn't bring it, but meh, I can only blame myself), so I hitched a lift over to the show & shine around 11:30, where there was quite a spectacular arrangement of Toyotas, plus a particularily hot photographer for the local rag. She mamaged to resist the dozens of us that hit on her, but did recommend a number of venues for that night.
So after the show ended, it was back to the hotel to begin the 12 hour straight drinking session, which we continued at the Hogs Breath, & then back to the Hotel & then on to the Commercial, where we checked out the local talent (pretty bloody good in some cases!) and partied like it was 1899 (can you believe they played Peter Andre?!?!?!? I thought it was a joke at first, but no, the locals seemed to love it ).
One of the locals took a strong liking to Jason/YellowRolla, I think because he was the only person in the place to come close to her 6'+ height, and 15+ shoe size.
Respizact to Jason/Magna Boy, for holding out later than anyone with me, we finally had enough of the bad music at about 3ish, and headed back to grab a couple hours sleep before thew drags the next day.

Drags was awesome as usual, although once again, I wish I had my car there!
Big congrats to everyone who raced, in particular Jase for winning the shootout, Joe for winning the quickest time, & Kylie for winning quickest chick.
The dinner that night was great, & I got to sit at that table that won half the raffle prizes, and next to the table that won the other half of the prizes. And then it was back to the hotel to finish off the case of beer I had been working on all weekend, plus take a few more photos and the odd video, one of which has Mr1JZ being woken up by that annoying air horn, and to get a bit of sleep before the long drive the following day.

After a hearty breakfast at that awesome bakery up the road from the Matilda, we began the long trip home, arriving back in good old Radelaide around 11 that night.

As usuall big thanks to the organisers, you guys did a fantastic job, yet again, & also to all the participants, it's because of you guys these weekends are so good, & also to Matilda Inn for putting up with us, & even giving out free bottles of wine to every room, which I must say was a smashing success!!!

See you all next year, with one of my cars!!!

Big thanks to Grant and Dave for organising another truly wonderful event. Thank you to all who volunteered their time to help out over the weekend. Thank you to the Dubbo Cuty Car Club for organizing a great day of racing too.
Toyota vs nissan: both 700ish kg things, both 1.8L turbo, both setup for drags n shit. we all cheer as the rolla kicks arse.
    Thankyou for the video link!
The Corolla weighs approx 1045kg with driver, can't say for sure what the datto weighs, but it is a circuit car that ran on street tyres (it actually laps Wakefield in 1.07sec on street radials too). I would love to knock 200kg out of the old YelloRolla! Then it would be less than 1/2 the weight of Joe's Supra
    YelloRolla's KE20 1/4mi = 11.32 @ 119mph @ 22psi on slicks
    12.44 @ 113 mph on 165 wide street tyres
210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.

As Jason has already said, but I dont think this can be said enough,
BIG THANKS to Grant, Danae and Dave for all their efforts and hardwork that resulted in an excellent event that has all that attended counting down the days till next year
also not to forget all the other volunteers who helped out over the weekend, I.B. looked downright sexy in his little yellow crop top directing the cars at the drags
and thanks to the Dubbo Cuty Car Club for the great day of drags racing.

The way that yellow Rolla took off from the lights was a sight to be seen. It way like a slingshot. The little white 1200 coupe was impressive as well for a circuit car.
And who could forget the two meanest Supra's I've seen in a long time. Incredible cars in every aspects. No doubt their owners are extremely proud of them, and they damn well should be.
Nath pissing on the wall and floor after being airhorned was a hilarious event, which I'm sure he'll remember when he hits Adelaide. And Karl should definitely head down too We'll step it up 10 notches. Haha.
Was a great weekend, and no doubt i'll be blamed for the air horn coz i was the first to use it in public. Hahaha.....oh well, I'm glad the others had as much fun with it as I did.
