Hi all. The long awaited Entry Forms will be sent to Nathan tonight so should be available over the weekend. I apologise for the delay. In trying to maintain or better last years prices we have had to go to suppliers who we have not used before and these were slow to respond. Some prices have increased slightly over what I posted previously. This was a result of final pricing from the suppliers/ caterers.

Motorkhana is looking good but can’t make any promises just yet. Wellington council has given verbal approval to use the pit end of the track on Sunday so the two events can run simultaneously. We now have to submit an application formally so I will keep everyone informed of progress.

    Cheers.

Our club's details will be comming shortly a CAMS motorkhana permit fee is $130 for a multi club event. Should the event go ahead we will cover this cost. Entry into the Motorkhana will be less than $30, possibly as low as $20, but will require a Level 2NS CAMS licence or day licence.

    just for information
L2NS $48 (need to be a member of a CAMS car club, be an acciocate member of TCC.net for $20 both valid for 12 months)
L2 day licence $42 no membership required.
L2S $88 (need to be a memebr of a car club...)

    Cheers

    motorkhana or drags....hmms tough decisions!

also FYI...the apron at the end of the strip should be

    ~40m x ~27m

and the runway is ~15m wide

but the apron isn't centred...if u want more a detailed measurement set just ask...i will either pilfer it off the plans, or go and measure it myself!

    Cheers

    drags are a deffenent.
khana are a very big possible at this stage.

It may just be finances that make people choose perhaps

THe members of Toyotacarclub.net floated this idea to Grant in order to provide an alternative to the drag's, for both compeditors and spectators alike. AASA (australian Auto-sport Alliance) is basically a compeditor to CAMS, as such their licence is not recognised for CAMS events. This one will be by the book so I'm going to say that if it goes ahead,

AASA licences will not be accepted and a CAMS licence will need to be presented/purchased.

in much the same way as CAMS/ANDRA licences are not cross accepted.

    Cheers
    Jordan

P.S: should both events goahead (the Drag racing is confirmed) there would be no reason for any person to have to make a choice, as the events will be operating at the same time.

Anyone worried about the locust situation just check out Australian Plague Locust Commission, then click on Latest locust bulletin and forecast and it gives you pretty coloured maps, highlighting any plague areas, at the moment its looking pretty clear all up and down the eastern seaboard and inland,
    Cheers

well I missed 2004 when I wanted to get there with the RAV, but with the locust plague they had back then, I'm kinda glad the RAV was off the road. Main thing is I'll be there this year.
