    oops! Blind I am.
That's a very nice power curve and a nice bunch of power for a mere 13psi.

In 3rd gear, at what's already a stupid speed, 5000rpm comes round and you can see him struggling a little with the steering as the wheels try and break traction. Problem is, even at that speed, it takes no time at all before its on the redline.

i was in perfect control never seen a car get from 100km/h to off the dial so quickly. thats if i ever intended to do that of course

your 2535...when does it make boost? is it laggy? do you have a dyno sheet to prove?

also your 2535 would be ball bearing yes? this T3/4 item isnt and ive found they arent as responsive when they are a plain bearing item...

i have strong beliefs in the uber value to performance ratio of the WRX turbo. You can pick them up for around $200 a lot of the time, and with a good manifold and the right build.... you can be happy with something like this:

This is not a highly backed up opinion but if you only want 7psi i know i guy that used to have a 4A in a rolla that he bolted the turbo off a CA16 (nissan EXA or simillar) onto, and it would spool almost instantly and boost 8psi to redline. I think he mumbled something one time bout too much exhaust manifold pressure at top end but the guy is a "backyard perfectionist"

All i know is that red rolla was bloody quick. Dunno where the car is now coz i haven seen the guy for ages.

i dont think the t3/4 would be as laggy as a gt30 which is what i would consider too big

i agree. whenever every asks me what turbo i have and say "gt30" the respond you mean "t3" some people dont believe me until i pop the bonnet to show the monster underneath.

i reckon a good t3 would be nice on a 4age. not for me though as want something gt spec

The GT30 can be a far more responsive turbo than a T3/T4, in fact if they are both rated for the same power the GT30 will definately spool better because of the newer aerodynamics. If the T3/T4 is a 57 trim like all the cheapy's from china then it will be a dog for spool times.

You have to remember that A/R is a ratio. You can't just compare the number between different turbo families. A T3 0.63 housing is a hell of a lot bigger than a T25 0.64 housing. Or even better example my TO4 has a 0.58 housing and it hits 10psi at 4500rpm on my worked 3S. Physically the turbine housing is at least 25% larger than a T28 0.86 housing.
