cheapies have there place as do good quailty coolers!
Bit like microtech has its place as does the motec m800 etc
I cannot see what would be overly different from a cheapie vs a HKS other than durability and better welds etc. The chinese are masters of copying everything,it wouldnt surprise me if the first ones they made had HKS etc stamped in them also...At the end of the day is half a ml of better angled end tank going to matter much in a street application? Aslong as its not blocked and is sealed properly how else can a HKS etc brand of the same size IC be any better...
Its all about labour, get a welder to make one from scratch here at 40-60 an hour or some bloke in China to do the same..
Surely this was all put to rest with the amount of very quick high HP street cars running cheapie IC's around today..

Thanks for your replies the reason i want a better cooler is there was metal fragments around where my silicon hose sits underneath the piping .
Could be coming from the turbo?
Can you show me and others on the net or in a book about acid dipping cores? or would you prefur to quote info you have got from me or did you come up with acid dipping from R&D?Originally Posted by oldcorollas
