how much work is involved in the 1jz conversion in the mx73 conversion.........would be a straight swap if we bought a jzx front cut ?
got the auto here, so really an engine, loom, ecu would be needed ....... then have to worry about engine mounts.....

i drove around for a while with a slightly loose battery cable and shitty leads and plugs... and it did the exact same thing, when idoling it sounded like 5 cylinder thing, and wud jerk along the highway and stall for like 2 seconds if i went over slight imperfectioons in the road. it was a 5m-e but still it could possibly be this.
jono
the leak was caused by blocked oil feed line from the going to the TB......we cleaned out the steel lines, but not a short rubber one aparently.....and thus pressurising the system blowing oil out of the rocker covers....
looks like new leads are the go.... the mech said he was shocked a few times, and i also have been shocked by them.....so that is prolly half the reason for it going soo crap
also going to look into a catch can with feed back to engine.... soon tho

my 7mge hasn't been cutting out but has recently it has been kind of stuttering when you give it a little bit or drive it up a hill. Did the diagnostic test and it came up with the water temp sensor. Should I replace it? I'll check the spark plug holes and the dizzy like you guys have suggested.
my crown was doing this also, had me stumped for ages and found it to be the ISCV, must of got water in the stepper motor, it and was all seized up and corroded open, once that was all cleaned up, was right as rain again
