Toymods server down?

Hi..

just noticed that a lot of users have repeated posts, which have similar content with some slight variations. My guess is that they've posted, but it didn't show up, and they typed it up again and posted it again.. but it still doesn't show up.. any idea what's up? is this a temporary thing? it's still going on as of now i reckon, but you can see from the title thread that someone has posted, just in the thread itself the post isn't showing up? (refreshing doesn't work, so i'm guessing it's something else)

Also this arvo the server was down or something coz i couldn't open up the toymods site for a while. and when i could , it seemed to go down after a short while..

any clarification / suggestions / answers to this?

Hi,

Thank you for taking an interest

As you may have noticed over the past two hours it would've also been going up and down.

Short story is mysql crashed (earlier today) and is mostly back up (just now).

The board needs to be shut down for a bit longer to fix the final databases. Hopefully this should be done tonight.

Edit: databases fixed (hopefully). It may take some time before the data rebuilds correctly (I think a thread needs to be edited before the thread view displays correctly). Pending removal of the double (sometimes septuple) posts everything should be back to normal.

i was going to make a thread about a problem yesterday until i realised i couldn't post

Problem was when i did a search it would come up with an error message saying a "database" error"...all good now though

ok, im not sure if this has anything to do with the server going down but it happened after the server came back up. It said i had 3 unread PM's. when i looked at my inbox i only had 2 and they were both the same....similar to a double post in a thread but with a PM. but my 3rd PM isnt there. ive searched it all. its anoying cos i have that thing up the top of toymods saying i have 1 unread msg and i want it to go!

anyone else have this prob?
