Thought I'd post another one i've found.

Also, since updating the threads have found my post count went down, even though I have counted eligable post to be more. Went down by the amount of my multiple posts.
No biggie, just letting you know.

Yeah, so was i... I couldn't work out why my post wasn't displaying... gave up eventually and when i went to post it again today (since it didn't appear to be there still) i saw this...
My post is nowhere to be seen.

... but here in the "Topic Review" my post(s) are clearly there.

That sounds right, because the multiples are being deleted

The threadview table was corrupt, so the "last post by" and number of posts may not be accurate until all the data rebuilds itself.

Yeah gathered that was what happened, but my post count was higher than it is, before the errors started to occur.... (on thursday night)
I counted my "view threads posted by..." and I count more posts (excluding the ineligable one from other sections) then the post count quotes...

ok, im not sure if this has anything to do with the server going down but it happened after the server came back up. It said i had 3 unread PM's. when i looked at my inbox i only had 2 and they were both the same....similar to a double post in a thread but with a PM. but my 3rd PM isnt there. ive searched it all. its anoying cos i have that thing up the top of toymods saying i have 1 unread msg and i want it to go!

Thank you for taking an interest

As you may have noticed over the past two hours it would've also been going up and down.

Short story is mysql crashed (earlier today) and is mostly back up (just now).

The board needs to be shut down for a bit longer to fix the final databases. Hopefully this should be done tonight.

Edit: databases fixed (hopefully). It may take some time before the data rebuilds correctly (I think a thread needs to be edited before the thread view displays correctly). Pending removal of the double (sometimes septuple) posts everything should be back to normal.

i just noticed something. the notifications when receiving PMs aren't working as well as they should.. i think i haven't received notifications for 3 out of the last 5 PMs i received..

is this normal? or should i not worry and just check on Toymods when i feel i've got a PM?

you should only get 1 message even if you get many pms until you visit the site (it then resets). This is to stop your inbox being full of spam.
