aircon i don't think should be a problem, as i've got the 16v 4AGE aircon compressor on my 20v. i'm guessing that the FE and GE in the AE92 would have almost identical aircon lines so you shouldn't have a problem there.
doing a 20v conversion on an ae92 tomorrow which currently has a 4afe, problem is the 20v doesnt have power steer or aircon, nor the brackets for them but the ae92 does.
does anyone know what can be interchanged? ie do i need to find a 20v power steer bracket and pump or can i use the 4afe ones? or can i get just the bracket and use the 4afe pump? also same questions apply for the aircon, but more concerned about the power steer at the moment.
yes im going to take the brackets off tomorrow to check, but it would be good if i could find out tonight so i can start hunting the parts rather than wait an hour or 2 till i get the engine and box out of the rolla.
cheers.

You could do the cheat method and transplant all the 4AFE stuff over to the 20v. So aircon, alternator, and powersteering. Depending on the offset of the crank and water pump snout you may have to swap over those pulleys too, although that wont cause much of an issue from memory.
That way everything will fit and work. Just have to worry about interference with other components.

yeah i thought about transfering everything over but i dunno if i will go that way.
with the aircon, the 4afe uses the back half of the crank pulley and the 20v i would say uses the front, but i think im not gonna worry about the aircon for now.
with the power steer, one of the 4ages i have at work has it (from an ae82) and i think i can make the bracket work if i grind a section out to clear the cam covers, and this will line the pulley up with the front half of the crank pulley. from memory the ae92 4age's have the power steering on the intake side of the engine which is no good. so if i get a twinky pump and all the ascociated pipes i THINK i might be in business.
but i have the 20v in the car now, so once i get this sorted i can get my head around the wiring.![]()
