If you take the 32 tooth nylon gear out it should have it stamped on it... 10/32 or 11/32...

I will be able to tell you tomorrow morning.

Do you know the ratio of the speedo gears in the box you pulled out?, from there you cancalculate the difference in the two ratios and then th error.

No, it was the standard auto, not really sure on those ratios, if you could find out for me peewee that would be great.

Looks like you are after 10/33....but with the 10/32 your speedo will read about 3.03% low...(when doing 97kph speedo will read 100kph....if i didn't get it arse about! )

Well after going to every local wrecker and parts pick place i still dont know what drive it is, evrything i have looked at has a 29mm dia gear on it, i have yet to find a bigger one.
i pulled the top off the box and it definately doesnt mesh with the gear. when we were talking about the gear ratio, i.e 10/32 is the 10 the number of teeth that gear inside the box has were it contacts with the speedo drive? mine looks like it has 6.

It may look like it has 6, but it will have 10 (or 11)
The number is stamped on the side of it.

I just finished pulling the rear housing off the gear box and found the drive inside the gearbox to be a 10x 34-36. I wasnt actually that hard to do in the end, now i need to work out the speedo error, If im running the standard 4.11 diff in the cressida should only put my speedo out a bit with the 10-32 gear as wilbo said it should read, low 3.03% so if im doing 100 on the speedo it should only be 97 in theory?
I also have a ma61 lsd diff to change over to which i think is 3.9, so should that read about the same amount the other way as in 100 on the speedo is actually around 103kph?
