Default 20V 1600 SilverTop with Blacktop MAP conversion - Wont REV cleanly

I have a 20V silvertop with a BlackTop ecu and Map sensor conversion
It starts great first time everytime, but when rev'ed it doesnt do it cleanly, and when driving if near 100 percent throttle it hesitates and crackels until it gets past 5-6000Rpm and then takes off
I have a pic of where the Map sensor is pluged into (attached) Maybe i have it connected in the wrong spot??
    Any help would be great

I can't comment in depth on the silverstop positioning for MAP snesor as it never had one fitted. On the blacktop, it is taken off the intake tract after the throttle butterflies on a section common to the 4 throttles, similar to the plenum section you have tapped into.

I would suggest however that your map sensor is getting pulsating signal that needs to be dampened via way of installing a small filter inline. The factory blacktop is setup like this as the signal can be "bumpy" if you like. I have heard of people using very small fuel filters to do the job.

Hope it helps. If you need it, i might be able to dig up a photo of the blacktop position but try smoothing out signal first I reckon.

I've got a silvertop running off blacktop electrics in my car.
Running the MAP line tee'd off the same point as your picture, no damper, runs great.
Currently running off a EP91 MAP sensor, I tried the blacktop one but the EP91 fits on the firewall like it was always there
I noticed no difference between the two sensors apart from the bracket and sticker.

At WOT you won't/shouldn't have much vacuum if any, so you're not really going to get much smoothing effect.

Sounds more like a timing/ignition issue. Go over your timing belt marks, plugs, leads, cap.

    Any diagnostics codes?
    Which coil/igniter are you using?
The spanner in my avatar is actually a 16mm, that's why it's still new

that or insert a 0.6mm mig nozzle inside some 6mm vacuum pipe - it will smooth out spikes in MAP.
