and why not do it to the 7A block?
is a 4A block legal in your car?
I am trying to work out what to do with my car... I have an AE102 Seca Conquest with a 7AFE... now i want a "bit" more power... So what i am thinking about is an engine swap for a Silvertop and then swap the internals for GZE pistons to lower the compression, and then bolt on a turbo.
For the silvertop swap, would i be better to get a halfcut or would the straight motor (which i've seen for around $550) be enough? what extra would a half cut have that would be benifical for my AE102.
How hard would a silvertop conversion be for my car? would it be a straight bolt in? (plus ECU change to the stock silvertop ECU???)

I don't see why a 4A would not be legal? I have an AE102, the AE101 is the same car with a th 1.6L instead of the 1.8L in mine...
I'd prefer to do a straight engine swap than to upgrade my motor
what id wanna know is where are ya gonna find a silvertop for 500 bucks? i have only ever seen em about a grand without loom or ecu
ud probably have to ditch the quads with the turbo apparently some funky stuff happens with quads and boost, or just put a 4age head on the 7a and boost that
dont even contemplate STARTING an engine swap unless you have at least $2500 in your back pocket.
...... butt scratcher?!
Unless you already have the same motor fitted it is better to buy a half cut, you then get all the wiring brakes etc.
Would he not be better fitting a Ae101 4agze? The ditching the super charger and turbo charging that at a later stage?
