will a 4agze one do the trick? I can get a mesurement on how long it sticks out if needed.
im up to the stage where i need to setup a Crank Angle Sensor on my 20v in my KE25 corolla Race car, only due to the rules for ym class not allowing me to mod the firewall to fit the dizzy, Does anyone know anyone that is able to do this setup (prefer in syd),
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

I think you can use a falcon crank angle sensor from the EF - EL and fit it to the front of the crank.
Do you have a std ecu or aftermarket? to use a modded sensor setup?

i am running WOLF3D ecu, so it can be setup from that, i will look into the falcon setup/

you can make mods and run the dizzy off the front of the can gear.
how much clearance is there from the back of the head to the firewall? my AE71 was running the internals of the dizzy with the rotator button and dizzy cap removed, with a replacement machined cap over the top that didnt stick out as far, but im pretty sure there is alot less room in the ke20?

Yeah, sams idea would work.... if it wasnt a KE25. They have buckleys and none room at the back of the head. Go the crank trigger setup as posted on IPRA forums (i assume you are LMR on there)

I've seen a 3SGE with a dizzi mounted on the front of the engine (sorry, no pics)
- shaft of dizzi is modified/shortened
- a mounting plate is set over one of the cam pulleys
- cam pulley is modified to have a covering plate with fitting to mate with the shaft of the modified dizzi
- dizzi attaches to new mount.
personally ... i thought it was a complex solution but the owner wanted to run factory ECU and sensors...
Easy solution is a metal 36 tooth wheel (from motec or elsewhere) on the back or front of the crank pulleyand a VR pickup.
Thanks guys! ill be intouch with wolf right away!
