1UZ FTMFW. It's 1000% better than anything involving a 5M-E, and will make the car reasonably quick. Don't expect it to destroy everything on the road (I raced a UZA61 once, it wasn't even close) but it would definitely be a massive improvement over the 5M and will make the car a great cruiser. Plus with a good exhaust system they sound very nice indeed.

Then after a year or so take a leaf out of JustenGT8's book and strap on a couple of turbos. Does 400rwkw tickle your fancy?

I thought we came to the conclusion that this couldn't be done legally in an MA61
    If in doubt power out

Speaking of coming to conclusions, haven't we come to the conclusion YET even after all these pages that turbocharging the 5M-E boat anchor is a bad idea?!

If you seriously want to waste your money that much why are you asking people on toymods, just go and do it...

But even a 1GGTE will be faster than a 5MTE and that aint saying much.

When is the 5ME going to the track?

And as for the excuses, it will finally run a 13 before the end of the drag season

Alright I have to do this to set things straight, I was wrong. Mmmk? Did you hear me? I'M SORRY MY DYNO RESULTS ARE OFF.

I've been asking around and it seems like dyno readouts from boost worx are ~ 10rwkw more than say a dyno result from somewhere like Tillbrooks. Thus putting me at about 80rwkw and a believeable amount. Disappointing but I just thought I had to say it and apologise.

(This blows my 100rwkw 5ME plan away with idea of 3inch intake, new fuel pump and DFA )

Go to the drag strip, get a good run. Then go get the car weighed, and from that data you can work out how much horsepower the car has.

Trap speed and race weight are the numbers you need to calculate horsepower. The elapsed time isn't a reliable indication because there are too many other factors involved, such as available traction and driver skill.
