    you could put some fittings on the ends of the standard rail so its a twin feed

    To me, boring out a hole in the rail is a fair bit more simple, you just buy a extra long 5/16" drill bit from blackwoods and go slow and steady. The 3 in/outlets are already present in the stock rail (std inlet/return/CSI), so its just a matter of tapping them to match your fuel line fittings and going from there.
