um pretty broad question mate...What model Celica are you thinking? and 195kw is going to move most things along very quickly if thats what your trying to work out...What do you want from the car?

i want to put it in the lights model celica or i was thinking even a ke 20 or ke 30 i am pretty bored its in a ke 70 wagon at the moment its a little rusted out and ugly it doesnt do the running gear any justice i think maybe the ke 20 or 30 would be the better option as there light.
why not put it in a clubman? they are even lighter

The KE20/25 is the lighter option for the Corollas, and a good deal lighter than a TA22.

i will chuck in a vote for a ke20 or 30, lighter, cheaper and easier to find in ok condition than a ta22![]()

TA22 has much better suspension setup in the arse end than a KE20 though.... Thats why i chose a 22 over a 20.Originally Posted by WDE_BDY

Yep 22 is better in the rear, but given motor is in a 70 wagon at the moment and the leafs in the 20 can be tweaked pretty well its still a good option depending on the purpose of the car.

i have chosen the 20 or 30 as going for good quater mile numbers and now im changing turbo to a 500 garret roller and the cams are getting done. so the lighter the better. thanks all for all the input
Go the 30. Bit more engine bay room, and slightly wider which will help with high speed stability.

Engine bay room is pretty good in the 20/25 and a bit better in the 30 onwards.Originally Posted by takai
Just remember though that the 20/25 is light but most of the things that make it really light will be changed eg engine/driveline so the weight will go up. But in the later model rollas and the TA22 the changes in weight made with the new engine/driveline will be nil or smaller.
Example, my 4AGTE KE25 weighs about 900kg wet which is a fair bit more than the standard weight.
My old KE38 wagon weighed about 950kg wet in standard trim and now with 4AGTE is about 980kg.
Both the above cars have 4agte/W58/commodore LSD etc.
No weight saving mods have been done to either of the above cars.
The KE10 is damn light, just pick up a panel or a door and you'll know what i mean![]()

Go the ke25 as it's 35% prettier than the ke20 and 67% better looking than the ke30.Originally Posted by rollin
