You'd need to use an R154 with a spacer plate.
just seen a Landcruiser Prado with a 3.4L V6 with the motor pointing in the right direction![]()
the car was in an auction at Pickles Auctions , was stollen and stripped all but the motor & road train![]()
this would be a good way to get parts for a RWD conversion![]()

1JZ-GTE it is. Thread closed!
LOL!
Thread title: Best NA engines.
Final engine choice: something twin turbo.
Nice curve ball.
where the hell did he pulled 1jzgte from? Bah I don't care![]()
Because a mate of mine (SR20 Sprinter) said if I went 1JZ he'd install it for free and he does a friggen awesome job!
lol, can't argue with that.
there was a guy down at calder park drift practise who had a 1jzgte in a sa63/ra65, gave me a look under the bonnet, seemed to go quite well on teh track.
No major handling issues? obviously the firewall will be beaten the fark out of and the 1J mounted well back into the engine bay (like timottaways 1G RA65) so it should help to keep the weight back.
Should have got a drum kit instead perhaps?Originally Posted by gianttomato

how do you know I play drums?!!!
well if you are a drummer this car is no good for you - like bass players, drummers invariably have no means of transport or a car totally unsuited to shifting a drum kit packed away in cases...
a hatchback - while not as good as the Tarago (the only factory car specifically designed for shifting drunken/stoned band members around the country) - is a actually a sensible choice for a dummer..
... so i think you should go an buy an Echo... or a Suzuki Mighty Boy.
...
plus if you can fit a 1JZ into one of those, you'd be a god.
Sure thing guy, good luck with all that.Originally Posted by Hibino
