Thanks but they're 5x114.3, do you nkow how I can change to 5x108? That's what I'm aiming for if possible.
Thats crazy talk.
No
thanks for being blunt, that's exactly what I needed.
ms65 is 5x114.3 pretty sure. (unless you can redrill em)
Id say your best off redrilling the volvo axels. Or get some billet ones and drilled at the correct pattern
Thanks Cuzzo, I'm trying my best to fnid a way that'll pass engineering so redrilling or welding and redrilling isn't an option. I'll see what options I have re. aftermarket axles and blank rotors for the rear.
Hi Guys,
New member here. I'm planning to do this upgrade for my car. I got the strut, with rotor & hub (caliper not included) from someone who said it came from RT130. And measured the caliper bolt spacing to be 130mm the other day. Could you please confirm that the caliper bolt spacing should indeed be 90mm to fit the Hilux Caliper? Thanks
definitely 90mm. I've used those calipers on a few celicas as well as landcruisers over the years and just checked my spare caliper i had here

130mm sounds like TT13X, you in Oz or NZ? i had real trouble finding the right struts in NZ, gave up and went with RA23 struts and custom brackets.

I'm from PH. Another option that I'm thinking is to look for Brake Calipers with 130mm bolt spacing.
Just got my front bushing replaced during the weekend and was able to compare the LCA that I got with the strut vs. the stock KE70 LCA.
Though the strut that i got has a 130mm caliper bolt spacing, the LCA it came with was indeed slightly longer (310mm) than the KE70 LCA. At least I got the correct LCA for extra camber.

I think this would be achievable. The Volvo 240 uses holden bearings as does the toyota (I know for a fact that a hold hq hub fits on both). The seals from the Volvo hubs will not fit on the toyota. You will need to machine the seal area on the Volvo hub to fit a toyota seal or equivalent.
Now the offset has change on the hub, so wheel offset will also be different, probably not a bad thing as the offset may be more like the back.
Forget the pug disk and hilux caliper(caliper could be made to work with a spacer) and use a Volvo front rotor (lots to choose from). Note Volvo rotors float over the hub.
There may be alternatives to this approach using holden hubs, early holden may have the same stud pattern as Volvo?

I'm in the process of doing this conversion. But it appears that the coil springs that I got were a bit short (6 inch). It looks like I have to adjust the spring perch all the way to the top for the springs to match the extended length of the shock inserts.
I'm thinking of buying longer pair of springs for the front. Searching on the internet says 6kg springs for the front would be good for daily driven KE70.
Can you guys comment on this?
Thanks

I was eyeing to get MR2 rear shock inserts (KYB 365064) but it is not available in my country so I used AE92 shock inserts instead. You really need to put out in the car and get some weight on it to see what the ride height is. I'd suggest you have plenty of adjustment and really should have a shorter stroke shock insert in it.
I'll try to fit it on the car to see the ride height and how it feels.
Front Insert Dimensions:
AE92:
Body length: 336mm
Extended length: 500mm
Extended minus Body: 164mm
Outside Diameter: 43.5mm
