So the ST141 struts i have should work
thanks for the fast reply.
my rt132 struts are 60mm also,
hope that helps,
Aaron
So the ST141 struts i have should work
thanks for the fast reply.
what is the caliper spacing? should be 90mm if memory serves me correctly. The other thing you will have to check is that the hub fits and that the hub positions the offset of the rotor in the correct place to allow the rotor to run in the middle of the caliper, other than that you should be all good.
The spacing from center to center for the caliper is 100mm.
As for the hub i have a 5 stud MS65 and for a caliper i have a GTR 32 caliper
doing a 5 stud conversion for a KE35
just looking at different rotors and offsets
thanks
If you use ST141 struts you can run BA Falcon 298mm rotors with those calipers and the offset should be perfect and everything will bolt together perfect. You will have fun finding small diameter wheels to fit over those brakes though.
I have never done the falcon rotor nissan caliper before but if it helps you at all the hilux calipers also sit forward of the hub face, I'm not sure of the measurements but I know you have to be carefull of wheel choice otherwise the calipers hit on the back edge of the wheels.
I am thinking you may have a similar issue with that setup going on what you are saying
good luck with it all, hopefully someone who has done it previously can give you some more info
Aaron
and the five stud conversion is also viable with this setup i think... dont quote me im drunk...
cheers

Thank you for the picture, do you have a link or is there a thread on the Nissan caliper/ MS65 hub, or is there any more pictures that i can have a look at as where the disc will be sitting looks a long way in.
I am looking at different disc and different ways of fitting the caliper to the strut and when i have it sorted out i will post how i have built mine if Takai does not mind other wise i could start another thread on my findings as it is not really Peugot/Hilux.
thanks for your help / imput
p.s. the Nissan name will be removed from the caliper anyways![]()
The Nissan Caliper/MS65 hub with ST141/RA65 conversion is pretty well known.
Look up the MX83 write up i did a while ago, its the same details as that.

ok
i will check it out
thanks
I havent read the whole lot of this so i apologise in advance if im repeating something but.
Ive done this conversion on the rolla and i can conferm 2 things
MS65 hubs bolt up and will work for a 5 stud conversion
and u can grind away the caliper instead of machining the disk, i did that and have done 100,000kms on my setup with no dramas and i thrash the hell out of mine (been through countless pads, 2 sets of rotors and 2 sets of wheel bearings in 100,000kms)

Ive had a look and i cant find the reason why you put a spacer under the MR2 insert when you cut down the tube?
is it because the shape of the bottom of the insert is wrong for the inside of the strut tube?
please enlighten me because i need to make my struts tonight and I'm still not sure why i need this 15mm spacer under the insert.
thanks!!

You can put a spacer under the MR2 insert just fine. Use 40mm thickwall tubing for a quick and easy job.
You needs spacers so your inserts arnt floating around in the tube.
