just buy new inserts. i dont think that would work too well, if you can rebuild it at all.
the seals would probably be no good now anyways
I've got no idea whether I can fix this somehow, but I'm hoping I can just fill some part of it with oil and it will be as good as new? The shock simply wasn't rebounding before I took it out, and it sounded like it could do with some more oil in it, but yeah...now it's in pieces and I don't really know how to put it back together so it works!
Thanks.

Just throw all that out and buy new inserts (search for MA61 threads, quite a few choices).

after looking at my sprinter ones, i had the idea of just filling them up with diff oil and reassembling them - you could even make them short stroke if you wanted.
then i just put my tokicos in and threw all the guts away
So they can be used if I must use them?
I was just hoping to have my car on the road this weekend some time, and this is the only thing holding me back![]()
If you replace all the seals and get the correct weight oil, they should be good as new.
But any set of replacement inserts (Monroe, Pedders, Koni, Tokico, etc) will drop straight in.
