My 18RGEU dizzy cap has a little black box on it, bnetween 2 of the plug leads. The 18RC cap I got does not have a locater on it and the clip retainers are not as wide.

The dizzy cap from my 18RC is slightly bigger then my 18RG one, but the whole dizzy setup is interchangable. and with the oil filter im just using a supra one its very small. the thermostat housing on the 18RC is different to the 18RG and then im pretty sure is different again with the EFI setup. the water pumps are the same.

18R-G oil pump is higher volume than 18R-C; the impeller gears are about 5mm taller thus flow a fair bit more oil. They are straight swap replacements for each other in the engine block tho.

18R-C water pump is ok to use, they are the same. There are 2 or 3 different types tho, get the one that matches your engine setup - they differ by fan type and pulley type.

Dont know difference between 18R and 18RG oil filter mounts, but I have found the oil filter mounts on my 18RG's do take the stock toyota filter
with the EFI manifold. You just have to put it on at the right angle, and for heavens sake dont use a fucking Valvoline or equally poo filter - TOYOTA ONLY!!

You can use a 2JZ oil filter on the 18RG oil filter mount - i have done this before. It's a bit shorter.

Thermostat i dunno if different to 18R.
The RC dizzy cap doesn't have the proper locator on the RG distributor, so it can shift back and forth a couple of degrees. That said, I'm running an RC cap with no problems.

The bypass tube on the RC water pump housing is much smaller. RG is 14mm od, and the RC is about 9mm (guessing). Not sure what the effect would be, but a lot of guys over here run RC housings on their RGs.

Water pumps themselves are interchangeable, BUT the RC pump uses a smaller bearing not designed for the high revs of the RGs, so you will go through them frequently. Our US version of the Witzl supposedly has a mod to upgrade the bearing. IMO probably only necessary for frequent and heavy racing.

Genuine Toyota oil filter for the 3VZE is what I'm running right now. Sized for the V6, it should be plenty good for the RG

    Good Luck!

The 18RGEU electronic dizzy, what about a cap for these?
